Actually, not so simple as it might seem. In the 'developed world' [or the UK today] there are people who are for GW2 and there are those vehemently against it. As George is about to find out tonight.

I think we're beating a dead horse, which is a dreadful thing to do, especially after a week of bloating...

No.

It's got to do with legitimacy. Was Hussein's government legitimate? That's the question which should have been addressed at the UN, with Hussein's treatment of the Iraqi population on one hand and the alledged threat present or future which his regime posed.
Legitimacy is questionable as he was terrorizing his own population, a very documentable failure to provide security and welfare to the Iraqis.
Sovereignty should have been addressed as resting with the Iraqi people and would have better justified their liberation from outside, from a legal standpoint.
Are the enemy in Iraq Terrorists or freedom fighters? They are terrorists: there is no shadow government behind them with goals of a free Iraq and their targets include the Iraqi population. There is no legitimacy to what they are doing.

The simple fact is that it is never simple.

One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.

We have Human Nature to thank for that...
