For all your days prepare,
And meet them ever alike:
When you are the anvil, bear--
When you are the hammer, Strike.

any one seen 'we were soldiers' - the speech Mel Gibson gives his men before they deploy to nam. something about ...'as we move into the valley of the shadow of death...' im sure it was said before by someone else, but cant find who.

also, not so much motivational but just awsome - "i love the smell of napalm in the morning!"

Theres a bit in the movie 'Pearl Harbour' when the U.S president is going over the outcome of the attack by the japs, his generals and other staff are telling him that a retaliation cant be done, yet, he stands up out of his wheelchair, refusing help and looks at his staff saying "Don't you tell me what cant be done!"

I dont remember much else about that film other than that, becasue that bit really stuck in my mind, a real metaphor. Despite being paralysed his determination and will to fight on was not shaken - it only became stronger. To me that was a pretty powerful moment and it means alot in todays world. Despite the odd's - never give up.

I dont want to sound big headed but id like to put forward something i came up with and stand by, and its in my sig as well:

"If i'm not enough, i'll give my best without fear - i'll fail with everything i have to give... Appreciated or not"

Think he started as a Navy diver and then trained as a SEAL. I know he was one or the other in Vietnam.

Are navy seals the yank equivelant(spelling) to Royal marines?
Before you insult someone, first walk a mile in their shoes, that way when you insult them, you are a mile away and you have their shoes.
