Sorry boys , i did have a bit of a wink at the end of my post See , harry sorry mate i was having a joke no offence intended . As for the QDG bit its a bit of banter really . I usually knock about on another army website and you have to ''fight your corner '' there . I will learn from my mistake . You all seem good chaps here .

Actually, after reading your PM Bubbles I need to apologise. I hadn't realised that HCR had lost their armoured regiment and are permanently on recce.

That to my mind makes them 'medium' recce or 'formation' as the term seems to have evolved into.

Am I right - if not corrections greatly appreciated??

Spot on GD , doctrain in recce is deep (formation), close(armoured recce troops/platoons ) and of course uav's SF avation etc . Any way that has cleared that up , all the best .
