I`m gonna pop. Thats notched my BP up alot.

Its been emotional, we laughed with you, cried with you, sung with you, doubted you and wished you the best. I was an honourary scouser tonight, well done the Reds!

"No small toffees for feast tonight
Kopites party with Turkish delight
Jose, Sir Alex... London press
All choking on sweet success
Money, not love, is your drive
But tell us... Can you count to five?"

But tomorrow I`ll resume my hating of you. ;)

Where's my hat - feeling a bit peckish. Superb performance, bad news for Chelsea if Gerrard wants to stay but in all honesty that's where he belongs

Gutted that I missed both the match and the parade due to work but over the moon that we won. Carragher and Gerrard are two of the reasons why Liverpool are the best team in the world - money is nothing. Home grown passion is everything. Gerrard will stay - he can not be loved by a city so much and then decide to move elsewhere.

Dudek's save was not a great save - if he did that while we were 3-0 up against West Brom in a pre-season friendly, it would be a great save. He saved from the best striker in the world, from point blank range, in the last minutes of extra time in the champions league final, TWICE - it was a phenomenal save that made Gerrard's, Smicer's and Alonso's goals count.

The fact that we came 5th in the Prem doesnt mean anything now. Everton may have had the best season in a while, and Chelsea may have come first but it was Liverpool's season. I may not like the city, but the support that exists here makes me proud to be a scouser.

There are two questions though that I want answering - why didnt I put a bet on? and Who are Man Utd?

:D Good post mate. Shame about missing the game and the parade. I watched the game at home then went on the piss, I have never been through so many emotions in my life what night, well in Liverpool.

P.S. why don't you like the city?

I do really like the city, I just hate where I live but wont go into that.

I remember the match against Alives a couple of years back, and at the time believed that that was Liverpool's greatest night in a long while. What happened on Wednesday only surpassed that. UEFA glory is great, but winning the champions league is something that cant be described in words - only emotion. 750,000 people coming out to see the team is evidence that such emotion exists in Liverpool. I dont care what other people say - Madrid may have the best squad, Chelsea may have played better than anyone in the Prem and Arsenal and Man Utd may have the best reputations, but Liverpool is the best team in the world bar none. Without the club, Liverpool would be as dead as buried by now.

What a traumatic night !!
After half time, I could not bear the humiliation of 3-0 and switched off the TV and started looking at my emails but then after 15 minutes I could not resist to see what was happening but when It was 3-3. I thought I was seeing double. I couldn't believe it !! It defies logic against one of the most prestigious and experienced teams in europe
I will never forget that match.
I have been a Liverpool supporter since I was kid.
I think there something about the Liverpool fans and merseysiders in general is that they touch your heart, which I have not seen in any other fan club. They have heart and soul and they mean it. Their rendition of 'you'll never walk alone' is sung with so much conviction and it always brings tears to my eyes and makes me believe that there are people who do care about the injustices in the world and there are ways to overcome it despite the odds.

Thanks to Liverpool FC the people Liverpool for making it a memorable and joyous event ! :)

P.S
I was told never write off Liverpool until the final whistle !
