This post was written by a guy on Police999.com in relation to the death of Mr Bigley. He is either a police applicant or recruit. I find it hard to believe that someone would post such DUNG. He felt relief when Bigley was murdered. What a guy..........
idiot wrote: I can understand why he has no emotion over it. Unlike gore's friends who were directly involved (another idiot) didn't know the man or his family and it was something happening a million miles away. I was angry about it but I also see the other side of the coin. The man was aware of the risks when he chose to go to Iraq. Unlike our soilders killed in a war they fought because they were ordered too, Bigley went out of choice. He knew the risks but I'm pretty sure he was in it for the money, but thatys not to say I wouldn't have done it, I probably would of.

When Bigley was beheaded I felt relief; relief for his family and his friends. It was muhc better to have the incident ended rather than a continuing battle that would only end one way, with no agreement to release the women and an innocent man dead. Idiot
What a prat. Does anyone else find this distasteful/offensive/idiotic?

I got threw off the site for saying that the post was the most idiotic drivel I have ever read on any forum.

I inferred that the writer was an idiot. The mods stepped in and said that I was being over-sensitive !!!

I asked the mods (and even the Chief mod) how they would believe the Bigley family would react to such a statement.

They stood up for this idiot and threw me off the site !!!

I am glad. I can hold my head up high !!

You can check the full history of the exchange at Police999.com. at the Police bar. That is of course if they haven't locked to prevent their faces from reddening.

You do not need to be a police officer to join. Half of the members are nauseating adolescents who I would rather run a mile than ever see wearing a police uniform.

No you didn't, that is a direct lie. You got thrown off the site for breaching the rules which state you should not copy people's posts and post them on another website - you know that, it was explained to you at least twice before you were told if the post wasn't deleted from Military Forums.co.uk your membership of Police999 would be cancelled.
goreD. wrote:I inferred that the writer was an idiot. The mods stepped in and said that I was being over-sensitive !!!
You didn't infer anything, you were directly abusive towards another member. The content of your post in relation to what you thought of his comments was not the issue
goreD. wrote:They stood up for this idiot and threw me off the site !!!
Again, this is not true, you were thrown off the site for refusing to adhere to the guidelines.
goreD. wrote:I am glad. I can hold my head up high !!
I'm glad you can hold your head up also, but saddened that you feel it necessary to misrepresent how you were treated on another website. It doesn't say much for your integrity.
goreD. wrote:You can check the full history of the exchange at Police999.com. at the Police bar. That is of course if they haven't locked to prevent their faces from reddening.
Actually you can't since your membership was cancelled all your posts have been deleted as that site has more thought for it's members privacy and security than you appear to have.
goreD. wrote:Half of the members are nauseating adolescents who I would rather run a mile than ever see wearing a police uniform..
This may or may not be the case but the vast majority have the pride, integrity and guts not to go spreading malicious crap about the way they were treated.
I would rather have honest police officers than ones who run off wingeing about their treatment in a form which is actually just being dishonest.

Just for the record in relation to the post GoreD has quoted, the original poster did not mean he was glad Bigley was beheaded. He was merely saying he was releived that the ordeal was over for the family and that all the evidence was that this situation could have gone on and on and ended up with Bigley still being killed which would have been further grief and anguish for the family.
I likened it to the times when I have heard people say that they were releived when a close family member died who had been suffering because all the suffering had come to an end not because they were glad they were dead.
Unfortunately, the poster may not have explained himself in the best way but GoreD chose to interpret it differently from most other people.

I am sorry for taking up your time on these forums but I had to say something in defence of GoreD's 'slagging off' of the other site.

I too have seen the Film and was deeply saddened by its content, he was a very brave man to the end may he rest in peace.

No it is not a lie. Yes I was informed what you stated. I changed all references to POLICE999.com for a time and changed the idiots name to idiot. He is an idiot, or at best his post was IDIOTIC.

I was not abusive towards him. I inferred that he was an idiot. I have my post in relation to this copied before you had a chance to wipe it. I will post if if you wish.
goreD. wrote:They stood up for this idiot and threw me off the site !!!
Gazzer2 wrote: Again, this is not true, you were thrown off the site for refusing to adhere to the guidelines.
No, not true. The guidlines were enforced against me and not against any other name calling prong on that site.

My integrity? Ah, let he who is without sin cast the first stone.
You are talking RUBBISH.
I have been on this site for a while and have never had my integrity called into question.

So they did wipe my posts to stop their faces from reddening !!!

And as it has already been to explained to you AT length members of Police999.com have replicated other peoples posts on other forums and they were not either found out or thrown off.

Ah, now I'm being called a whingeing liar !!! I don't think that I am. Check out the membership !!!

You read his post. He is either an idiot or writes idiotic posts. I wonder if Mr Bigleys family would interpret it in the same way....... "Oh Gore you are a DRAMA queen. We are glad that he has had his head sawn off so that we can all now get on with our lives !!!!"

Gazzer2 wrote: I am sorry for taking up your time on these forums but I had to say something in defence of GoreD's 'slagging off' of the other site.
I am not slagging off the site. I am telling the truth. Unfortunately people can not now go and check my previous posts on Police999.com because the babysitters have wiped them. I wonder why they wiped all of my posts as opposed to just the ones which allegegly caused offence?

I would have given the readers a steer to enable them to read posts written by other prongs who slagged me off and were not brought to book.

My advice guys and gals is stay away from Police999.com. (unless you wish to feel superior with regards your spelling, grammar and intellect).

Gore.

If you want to continue I suggest you email me as I'm not sure the members of this forum want to see an argument about a non Mil Forum subject.

But just to explain. When you delete a member from the Forums all their posts are automatically deleted, it's a feature/fault of the software not a conspiracy theory....it may well be the same here as it uses the same forum software, check with the Admin here to see if it happens when a member is deleted.

Finally... I could accept that you were not lying about why your membership was terminated if you misunderstood the reasons. But having had the reasons expalined to you via the other site and email you then posted your comment that you had been thrown off because of your posts which shows that either you are unable to understand simple English or you are deliberately telling an untruth (lying) and yes, that does call your integrity into question.

It was explained to me after I was thrown off.

"You breached the copyright of the idiot in question" etc.

I did wipe all reference to POLICE999 and then found that I was thrown off anyway.

I then adjusted my posts again re-inserting references to POLICE999.

Do not come onto this forum and try to appear like the reasonable man.
You/your forum is not. And please do not spend too much time on this site. You may be needed on POLICE999.com.

Nappies may need changing.

One of the mods wrote.

QUOTE. I've known IDIOT for quite some time on this site, and I don't believe his words have been taken in the spirit in which he posted them.

Whilst some on this site might be up for the 'Bravery' medal as quoted, some might also be at least mentioned in despatches for 'Intentionally taking offense at a poorly worded post'..........

Just my opinion, you understand........ UNQUOTE.
