sub 7 min miles... makes me even prouder of what i achieved! im really 'struggling' now at doing 8min miles at 34.... stroll on grandad  mind you, you lot should be WANTING it, the only thing in your head at this stage is getting that lid and NOT letting any jack slack get in your way! good luck to you all and remember this - the reward is jumping out of that hercy bird and being apart of the greatest brotherhood there is. I get stitches when I really push myself too, you just have to ride the pain, It's usually caused by eating a large meal and not leaving it 2-4 hours before a run, or it's because of weak stomach muscles as your abs do a lot of work to keep your body in position when running. I don't do sit ups or anything but I am starting, stitches are something you shouldn't have to get used to. Does anyone know what the amount of sit ups and press ups for prac is, and what time you are looking to get for 1.5 mile run after the blistering 3.5 mile warm up? thanks

I find that getting rid of a stitch is just a simple case of inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth, seems to work for me.

Feel fukin gutted, I got to catterick only to be sent straight back home because my AFCO hadn't posted my med forms to them so I couldn't do the course. And what's worse is that my recruiter is on leave and they're saying "apparently" he is the only one who can re-book me onto the course. I was so excited and I ended up not even getting to do it, I feel well dissapointed. I've gotta wait about another 3 weeks now, I spose I should just use it to my advantage & get even fitter, but seriously feel gutted, I just hope that I can still get onto the October intake if I pass it in about three weeks, I just can't believe I travelled 4 hours to catterick and they didn't even know I was on supposed to be on the course. Anyway nothing I can do about it now, rant over :bad-words: Lol :-)
