Correct poition, 1" above left eye, but P.W.s wore theirs more to Port, as did various other SQs and units. 45 for instance. Range snipers wore theirs back to front, particularly when firing into the sun

The Jan/Feb issue of G&B has me totally confused on this issue. Page nine and the back cover, show two RSMs plus the Corps RSM. One man has his cap badge smack over his left eye, the other two,including the Corps RSM, have the badge mid-way between eye and ear. Strikes me that anything goes in the dress code of todays Corp, if RSMs cannot agree on the simple issue of where the cap badge should sit.
