i am 19 just got the idea of joinin into my head when i started high school but mum kept sayin not to do it and stuff like that so i had a crack at what some people may call normal jobs yano on civvie street and have to say its not for me need some excitement and action also not so keen on being around my area anymore to be honest with you.
well all i can say is that now i am not listening to people saying they dont want me to go in as i dont see why i should stay round here working in dead end jobs when i could get in the army (hopefully) and have a more positive future

To the original poster. Dont worry about a broken collar bone. Iv broken both mine and never had any problems with them. Yeah got the two slight lumps where the bone sticks out but that was never a problem. If anything the only issue I got was from a cpl dishing out a bollocking for the sling 'not being farkin cammed up enough'...

all mams are probly thinking that to, but what your mam has to think really hard is that its your life and your future, she cant get in the way of that. If your happy, she should be happy!

Yes is the short answer your medical docs are simply filled in to make sure your medically fit to attend the two days selection.

the medical at ADSC is a very thorough examination.
Your Med docs are done to screen out people not even medically fit to attend ADSC
Dont worry 98% of people fly through it first time.

I am a member of the 2% that didn't sail through first time. Had my screening for a heart murmur at hospital today and been given the all clear, so now waiting for ADSC take 2.
A Corporal at ADSC said they lose 10 a day through the medicals, most are just deferred and not 'failed'.
Good luck
