a WHOLE HOUR AWAY!? the average commute in london is an HOUR

i actually (used) to spend a minimum of 90 minutes to spend my evening/weekend STABing - and that was if public transport was kind to me.

if you want it, you will do it - as everyone else says.

To be fair though, the average London commuter wears a suit and carries a briefcase.

Your average squaddo will be carrying all the stuff for a weekend, and probably hanging about in train stations at slghtly more anti-social times than 8 and 5.

If you go somewhere close, you're more inclined to go regulary.

never heard of putting the green into something that is not so as to disguise what your carrying as any other bag of kit?

That and I would have thought putting a 25kg bergen into another bag to carry would just bring on unnecessary shouting and swearing.

um, no its quite straightforward. usually though my bergen remains in my locker at the ta center.

About the same as the RN then. I was looking at that 9 minute figure there thinking of how there was no way I could do that and stand up at the end of it lol!
