Saffer, it was a TV show, he could have stopped whenever he wanted...just like the ones at the river crossing!
Obviously on the PRMC its different as there's more pressure for you to do it.
Either way, I figure you've got to give credit to anyone who after convincing themselves they couldn't do something go ahead and do it anyway.

Just a quick note for those that missed it last nights show - myself included.
I work for a large ISP and we are currently working with the BBC to make their TV content available on-line. So basically, if you miss a programme you can download it and watch it on your PC, copy it to DVD etc.
To get around the copyright issues the content will become invalid after 14 days – self destruct!
Obviously not much help those of us who wanted to watch last nights show but there is a hope for the future.
They are also looking at making their archives available as well. Any Eldorado fans out there ??

On the top board ( it isnt really that high) i was stood peering over the edge at the bottom of the pool. The PTI said "Go" so i shouted my bib number and colour and just jumped in. Before i was told to go i was crapping myself(no idea why looking back at it) , when he said go i didnt give it any thought and just jumped in. It really doesnt enter your mind when you know there looking at you, it lasts a second then your gasping for air because its damm coldMr Mojo Risin wrote:Seriously though, is anyone else here that has done or is or has done the training and prmc scared of heights ? Got any tips for me to conquer what i think will be my second biggest hill to climb ?
Anyone notice the PTI carrying the shuvel on the endurance course

I think its a 25m range with mini figure 11 targets (seem to remember them being about 10 inches). The shooting isn't bad provided you've pulled through your weapon (you can snatch some breath when you do this - but you will be 'encouraged' to do it quickly). If you get a stoppage you've freddied. Also it will be ok if your sights are properly zeroed (which they should be - but this probably isn't a good time to find out). If you fail the shoot you fail - no matter what time you ran the course. What kind of range is that? 100 meters? And what kind of targets?
Cronks, in the pool we had to stand to attention on the diving board, back towards the water and fall back but stay rigid. Bottle is proportional to how rigid you stay

just checked the tv guide for BBC3 over the next week but cant see it listed.
i nearly choked when that guy wrapped his shins around the log on the rope swing, i think that the 5 wimps ( sorry but that waters just to cold ) should be put on the firing range ( as targets ) and let the old boys check their aim with the bren and lee enfeild ( weapons they used on D-DAY ), i love it when you see gobby gets like sharpe giving it the big bit to everbody and then see him crying at the top of the rock unable to absail, i get a nose bleed going in the loft, but you need to show some backbone in front of the old boys who made it possible for you to have the choice.

They did seems a bunch of tarts for not doing the river crossing, as you said especially in front of the vets.
But what about the guy at the back when he said "If we are going to do it, lets do properly i.e with burrgen" All the other guys immediately went NO, SHUT UP.

I think maybe he was trying to show off why put yourself in more shit than you already are!! Fair play to him though. I would off laughed if the corporal/ML turned round and said he was to do it with thebergen on but no one else. Ha
You may be disappointed if you fail,
but you are doomed if you don’t try.
