Just something worth pointing out considering Gunn's last post. Haha - how sad.

lads, lets try and avoid this please. Lets just use the forum for an exchange of knowledge - not insults.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, thoroughly used, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming... 'F*ck, what a trip!'

The reason it took a long time for me to find the post is because i was curious to what he actually contributed to the forum. He was the one who showed me this forum. We were joining the marines together, he passed PRMC, i didnt simple as that. The comments Mike_b and James made are offensive, I dont feel i should defend myself but if you guys ask FODD who Scott Lee Wilson , 873 troop i think you will be satisfied to find out that i am not making this up. I will consider appologies if they come but dont hold your breath lads.
Gosh this seems a tad off topic and is getting out of hand chaps. Whilst Wilsons response does seem a little on the harsh side - maybe he'd had a tough day. Gunn is right in that the recruit in question does have a good name as the youngest member of 873 troop. He is friendly with my son (also 873) who speaks well of him. I am sure that considering the passing of time and the hardships suffered in the intervening period it is entirely possible that he may have modified his views since then.
Either way, this upset wins no one friends and the forum is here to help us all not as a place to trade insults. Lets move on.
