It is impossible to get a 7' 2" wide canal boat through a standard size British Waterways Canal Lock.
Owner not happy, builder done a runner! Painter (ME) has been paid and laffed head of when he witnessed the first attempt by new owner to enter a lock after the barge had been lowered into the Oggin at Bunbury Staircase lock. £80.000, boat 2" to wide!
Owner want to kill builder who is not available at this time. Barge has been removed from the Oggin. Owner asked Painter "How can I get it to fit?" Painters reply was "Fu*ked if I know! Bye Bye"

Extra bit of info ref my post concerning canal boat.
Never convert metric into imperial measures unless you can do addition and subtraction to within 1% The front 20' is fine, the problem is the middle of the boat. Ar*e end is also fine. Turned out that the builder used sheet steel sourced from different companys in order to get the boat built ASAP.
The builder is unavailable for the next 4 weeks. He's having a grand time in Florida the owner found out when he tried to contact Scouse.
