Its not easy to do of course unless you have a service number or can check with someone you *know* who knows them.

2 x 2 (actually I found 2 x 1 1/2 better in a 7.62 barrell)

Depends which service though - they're all different. Occifers is different from us as well!!

Only the Cav would think 7.62 is a smaller
bore than 5.56.

Exactly. I thought it was the sniper rifle he was on about. Plus the fact I put 2 x 2 when it should have been 4 x 2.
I am whipping myself with nettles as we speak.
