The diving was superb! Did anyone else get a "10" apart from the 13 year old?

Shame about the problems at the men's high jump, though. The women's hockey looks like being a good final and bronze play-off, too.

Taf, just show us the dog and stop malingering
Womens four be four hundred, that`s what sportsmanship is all about.
Not.
So the English girl stood in the wrong lane, so what? Did she obtain any advantage? No she didn`t. She made a mistake which the OZ girl realised and had time to tell her but chose not to.
Still, a win is a win hey.
For a change, the OZ commentators didn`t think much of the tactic.

Shame really.

It was a poor display by the Aussies. Even their team captain said she didn't think England should have been disqualified.

Did you see the penalty strokes at the end of the women's hockey bronze medal match? Two fantastic stick saves by the English keeper, really superb. And then she said "oh no, no pressure on the keeper in those situations"!

Big well done to Big David Price who won gold in the super heavy final. Completely out boxing Kevin Evans and winning in the 3rd round :multi:

The English girls got played for suckers....they have been doing this long enough to know the rules, and if they don't they should not be there

Tab, stop playing for the sympathy vote
You are right of course mate. Rules are rules.
Poke Sportsmanship

Man of The Match for me would have to be OZ swimming Goddess, Liselle Jones 8)
Girls hockey isn`t one of my faves, Ruth, but I did catch that.

Woke up with a start the other night, Mrs `Aitch asked me what was wrong, " I felt a shudder in the Force" :o I said. Not at all surprised the next day to see the Cult has landed in OZ and to make matters worse, gormless Prince Ted" I was nearly a Royal Marine" is down here as well.
What a right pair of Pomms they are

I like a game with a chance of death and serious injury - especially if you try to score past me  But I'd have thought a man of the world like yourself would appreciate the fine thighs and tight tops, Harry.

The Oz women were superb in the pool without a doubt. What a way to smash records. Have they accepted your invite?

Bin all that rubbish and concentrate on the Beach Volleyball
