Sack the milk, mate 8)

Heyup all,

ANZAC Day was brills, :o did manage two hours between posting here and ringing ukers.
Dawn Service was awesome.
Record crowds all over OZ, forty odd thousand in King`s Park saw yours truly chucking the wreath, on the big screen. No bastard wanted me autograph though :(

Made me way into ANZAC House for a rum or three at 06 45 prior to a
much-improved brekkers since last time. Had the craick with a few old Diggs and the usual bikey gang members till Missus Aitch rocked up at 09 15 for the kick off.
Why the plod donkey wallopers are at the head of a military parade is beyond me, but they are. This year we had an Inspector from the Met as Parade Right Hand Marker, how he managed to get that horse into business class I`ll never know
It takes till about eleven before we step off to the usual applause and cries of "good onya Royal" and as we aproached the saluting dias I noticed one of the police assistant commissioners from our recent Swasie Turner effort and as he clocked me winking at him he chucked one up in the best Benny Hill stylee. We both grinned at each other like a pair of right loons 8)
Once we were complete, de-rigged and returned stores, and retired to a position of safety with elements of Two Para(AGAIN) where the Red And Green Drinking Machine was rapidly deployed. Then after lunch, it was round to Paddy`s for a full-on sesh where one of our D-Day Vets had us enthralled with his dits as an LC on D Day. Plus I met another former Irish army geezer.
l just kept meself nicely topped-up, rather than shite faced.
Satdee was more of the same, really, plus a wee swim in the oggin. Sundee was soccer, brunch with Paddy, shop till you drop then dinner with Paddy. Several bottles of WA`s finest reds and whites and crash out till work this morning.
Turned to on time, but the spirit wasn`t willing. Never mind the body

What about yourselves :-?

Phots later, btw
