As far as I know, the term "crap hat" is used only by Percy Para to describe everyone else. Usually shortened to just "hat" They allso refer to us as "Cabbage Heads"or more rarely, "Sea Hats"
I`ve never heard another Bootneck use the term crap hat at all, let alone in connection with other Royals. Don`t forget, we all started out wearing the Blue in training.
As I`ve said elsewhere:-
If it`s Blue or if it`s Green, it`s still ROYAL MARINE,

H my last visit we stopped over in Osaka - Squadron Leader and kids had thoroughly good time. But watch the extra's they try to add to the bill - Late night video's indeed - moi.

We Flew JAPAL, surprisingly there was more legroom than expected, rugrats were spoilt rotten, personally it beat previous BA and QANTAS hands down.

The white DJ yes, always said they are so passe, not the sort of thing a gentleman would choose for himself.

As for the Peanno, grand or not, I have never really liked the things. As you know I have always been the master of a grand organ, and I used to delight in introducing many a sweet lass to its pleasures, regretably I have less opportunity for that now; but the Squadron Leader sometimes has a good go at the French Horn or the Oboe..........
