thanks for the heads up but now knowing more information due to health examination that will be undertaken on adsc-dental faults of work over 2hours. will slow my progress down if not, make me look for a civilian job. as i will need my dental sorting(want that done anyway before im 18-next 6months). and also all the way through my years of infant, primary and secondary schooling i was never good at exams and tests therefore i was glad i got the 43 i got as the seargent said"well its below average" the ammount of times i have heard that the only thing that does change is the names and face's.
but at the minute im thinking
1) do i carry on getting fit and get myself booked into a dental hospital and have my dental sorted before adsc-time saving (if i am defered it will take a further 6 months for dental treatment and by that time i will be 18 and wont be able to pay costs for work i need). get my dental sorted and return with my application and possibly re-sit B.A.R.B. test's and then go for adsc.
OR
2)forget about joining the army get my dental sorted out anyway before im 18 still and struggle on trying to find a job. only thought being when it comes to the future of settling down with family, kids etc... i know that in civilian life it will be much harder.
Right.
For somebody that left school a year ago this month. been looking for work ever scince and has had a couple of interviews but never got a job. that left school with f's-g's and E grades in gcse's and that is now wanting to make something of his life. and wanting money to be independant. and begin the rest of my life properly rather than messing it up like i did as a kid. what would you suggest i do?

Mate I joined 16 years ago with no qualifications at all. Got a good BARB though.
Average BARB is 50 so 43 is not well below average at all when you consider 60 gives you all the jobs on the list!!!!!
I would look at getting as much dental work done before ADSC.
If your only at med docs stage you still have some time to wait for ADSC
Just push on mate and let what ever happens happen.
What was your Basic skills scores????
