He was in 3 Para Patrols Platoon in 2006, same time that the book '3 Para' was written about, except that this is his views on the events. Very good book as is 'Spearhead Assault' by John Geddes, former 3 Para who writes about his experiences at Goose Green in the Falklands War.
All of McNabs books are good, fact and fiction. I know they are about the Marines, but Ste Preece's books 'Amongst the Marines: The Untold Story' and 'Always a Marine: The Return to Civvy Street' are really good!
