Which one? Reasetheath or South Cheshire College. Both are no more than 3 miles from my location.

South Cheshire will more than likely be the collage I’m going, may have to drop in to say hello on the odd occasion if that is the case.

All the best

Are you applying as an Officer, or just planning on applying normally after College?

Recruit mate, looked into the officers course a while back but decided that although I may look too further my career later on in life I’d like to get in and see action as a Marine first.

Just feels the right thing for me, as I understand it I would have to be top notch (more so than usual) to make it as an officer with out a degree and I personally want to get in there rather than go off to uni... Although I’m capable academically and looking to get decent GCSE grades the academic side of things has never appealed to me or been my strong point.

The way I see it my first step is PRMC, then RT etc I want to get in and do my two years general duties before I look into specialization/ the possibility of doing officer training. One step at a time if you get me?

Collage just gives me some extra qualifications and life experience as I don’t feel that I’m ready mentally just yet + plenty of time to be a teenager .

Soon as I turn 18 I’m straight in mind :P

That makes sense, I understand where you're coming from. Good luck to you anyway! As I'm not applying until 1st September, and God knows how long applications take to get from there to PRMC, when I get a bit fitter I might PM you and see if you're interested in going for a run sometime, here's assuming you live somewhere within Cheshire. Everyone around here thinks I'm some sort of masochist for attempting to join The Royals, would be nice to get some extra motivation nearer the time!

Will defiantly drop in, I’ve got my CBT bike test booked for next Monday so after that I’m on the roads and I’d love to have a whiz out that way.

We can call it a pint as well ... though I think it's going to be orange juice or coke all round seen as though I’m underage , that and a stingy git  :P

All the best

What are you planning on doing at college Stokey? I go to Reaseheath (occasionally :o) studying the 'joys' of business which is about as fun as it sounds but the qualifications won't do me any harm so I'll stick with it.
Artist, reference the PM's and phone call last week would this weekend suit you and Flighty for me and Stokey (if he's free) to pop around? If you fancy a pint I can even have a legal Breezer now! Stokey, I might get you a J20 if you are good and give me a lift on 'yer hairdryer... ;) Saying that, will it move with two people on it? :P

It would indeed move, but I’m afraid not legally, I believe I have to be 17 with a full license before I’m allowed a pillion and I centrally aren’t having her (yes Vespas are female!) impounded :P I don't get my license till Monday anyways.

This weekend may be ok, though Saturday night and Sunday are taken up with cricket and a large parties but Saturday day may be free if I’m not recruited to play second team cricket (doubtful)

I'll have to get in touch closer to the date and possibly get a taxi there?

Would certainly be up for it if possible .

Sorry lads but this weekend has already been booked by my daughters. Blow me If it's not Fathers day! :D

I of course will more than likely find myself well out of pocket once they have bought me a pint of soda water..............Them well known words uttered by all siblings to parents since money was invented will be heard............"Daaaaad!!!! Can you Lend me a fiver please?"

If I could get back all the dosh I've "lent" to my offspring over the years I could naff off on a year long round the world trip on the Queen Mary! :D :D :D :D

No, only joking! Love em to bits really, all 19 of them. 8)

Most of my birthday cash was swiftly stashed into my bank account to avoid such instances!

Mike

Nay hassle on turning to here at number 6. Just give us a couple of days warning is all. As I've said this weekend is a No No. Don't see me girls to often these days so I'm really looking forward to Sunday.

Whats wrong with 19 daughters! Another 3 and I could have had two hockey teams! :D
