Rifles have a proud and noble tradition.
Peninsula war and Sir John Moore etc.
Fine regiment. :lol:
RM., Colonial Police & Queen's Regt HSF.

Not to sure what one of those R must be a booty thing i am a bit biased as i am part of the rifles worked with u lot on herrick 5 at bastion and sanjin never again

Possibly it was because of the duties allocated

Yea Chas u could say that we got on well with u Royals at RFn/marine level just ure head shed have a very none army way of doing things best left there i think :lol:

I don't know what the tatoo polict in the MOD is, but I'd get your Recruiting Officer to double check with the head office.

I have a massive one on my arm, known as a sleeve and they took a few pictures sent it off to the HQ and some commander came back and authorised it. If you're serious about becoming a Royal I'd go back and ask.

Just another note,

They will not remove tattoo's from your neck. The scar tissue will be too weak.

I was stabbed in the neck, and had to have 3 skin graphs to build up and cover the scar tissue, it's the only place on your body where the scar tissue is a issue.

Therefore they certainly will not purposely remove tattoos from your neck. Have you ever seen a tattoo removal? It's not nice.

Out of interest, is your neck tattoo a dotted line with a picture of some little scissors on it?
