As does your attitude.

Take all those    into your basic training and you would soon have the smile taken off your face. Also your cheek to the mods, all of whom have military experience and give up their time for free to encourage others is not on. There is a lot to be gained from this site as others have found out but we don't have deal with people who take the p9ss.

Considering you think your the "grey man", I would say you stick out like a sore cok.

Your cheek is ridiculous, you will NOT make it with your attitude, we were all your age and we all know what it feels like, your imature. That's that!

If you want to get help and advice from this forum change your attitude and your nappy too. Otherwise you will continue to get grief from "dry" people like me.

A big waste of time writing to a stubborn pizza faced brat, if you won't listen to the mods I don't have much chance, i just presume you'll be binned from this site within your next stupid post or comment. Sorry mods for replying to this.

Hopefully will get locked before it gets out of hand.

I think everyone needs to lighten up. The lad asked a question about the tunnels on the endurance course, and yes he is annoying in the way he posts, but we all have the choice of not replying, Mod's included.

He didn't ask if anyone thought he was mature enough to join at 16, he asked about the tunnels. His initial question may have been naive and a bit daft but it wasn't offensive.

Several people tell him to grow up, I repeat he's 16. I'm sure none of use were daft lads at 16 eh?

Example - Yet mae - Telling him he needs to mature, then calling him a pizza faced brat. Pot, kettle, black?

Going back to the original topic I think knee pads are a good idea personally. After finishing my POC with several scars and a couple of infections I can definately see the benefit of a set, and I don't think it really detracts from the difficulty of RM selection.

I remember when I was there some of the guys were talking a about a POC candidate that had worn a set under his combats during the endurance course. Apparently he was found out by the training staff and binned. How much of this story is fact I don't know.
POC: Passed 21 June '06
AIB: Passed 28 June '06
AIB round 2: Failed!
PRMC: 26 June '07: Passed
RT: 24th Sept '07
Week 27 - Final Ex after Easter leave - blargh
Mrs Bevell of the AIB is still officially the nicest lady in the world.

I can't see how he could have been found out because they don't tell you to reveal your knees at any point.

hahah brings it all back , Use to hate it when they'd hold you there for 10 seconds then you'd hear ARMS STRETCH. Or when you didn't get something done our training team would always say stand by. We all knew that that meant sooner or later we'd get a thrashing for what we'd just done haha.

fubar84, on the one hand you are echoing what mods have been saying, i.e. if you don't care for a given post or poster, just ignore it. Which of course most can't manage to do.
That's right, most.
On the other hand for you to suggest that mods are included in not needing to reply, This I don't get. First of all, there's a lot that doesn't meet your eye meaning things are addressed privately, and sometimes it doesn't work.
No offence but don't pi$$ on my leg and tell me it's raining.

My problem wasn't his post, it was the way he replied to myself and to the mods, deserved a clip round the ear IMO.

He is imature and so was I when 16, so were we all, but we all know what happens to people in here that are disrespectful to the mods.

He's like another stinky, except stinky seems alot more mature these days. Maybe he should take a leaf out of stinkys book.
