I was planning on buying one of those flashy ones you see advertised in Combat and Survival Magazine, you know the bullet proof ones.

why its not asif its going to get shot off you in training? just buy a crappy casio that has a alarm clock on it and can tell the time. no need to go all out. it will more inlikey brake as soon as you start doing exercises.

In that eventuality I can deflect the bullets out the way with my wrist.
I was thinking I need a good watch that would actually take a bashing and last many years when I'm undergoing various vigorous activities.

G Shocks cost around 40-50 squid, they dont look lame, they definately take a bashing and they last you for aaages
(their like the unofficial squaddie/bootneck watches)

I quite like the look of the Traser H3 military watches. Theyre fairly cheap for what they are.

I'v bought f*ck all, i meant to pick up a decent iron today but forgot. To be honest i think i have most of the things lying about the house.
The only items i need to pick up are steam iron, speedos and clothes brush. What type of civi clothes are you guys taking down?.
