Running Tracks - Miles??

I do street running, you know that main road that LA fitness is on? and behind my house is a brooke that connects to the river Mersey in one direction and to the Manchester ship canal in another.

Also if my bikes working i can cycle to Sale water park and do a couple of laps round that its just under 1.5 mile per lap.
