You`d have to try a lot harder to upset me, dear.
The "quality" element in your posts is somewhat lacking, though.
And you were nominated yesterday 8)
But only as James future nobber`s 2i/c :P

harry, (assuming that you are in the army) (no afence for people in the army) im only in the cadet force and a few months ago some soldiers from the army to tell us what the army was like. And they were complete dumpa$$!! even some of the 13 year olds had more common sence then the soldiers!and im not lying! the soldiers just tryed to act important but they were all really shy. Harry, if you were in the marines or somthing, i would give you a little more respect, but seeing as you didnt put the effort in, and just became a regular soldier, you can sod off.

Ohhhh im going to enjoy this one. :D

But chris, please remember and im not being detrimental when i say this. But whether or not :D Harry was Marine or not does or should not come into question. The fact that he is a former member of the armed forces should be enough for you to sit back and take advantage of his years of wisdom (sorry Harry - i know your only 21). Like you have openly said you are a L/cpl in the Army cadet force and surely you as a Lance Corporal would want your lads to look up to you with respect and surely you as a Lance Corporal would want to guide them and give them the benefit of your leadership abilities and years of experience.
Fair enough you have had a bad experience with members of the recruiting team visiting you and you have made your mind up about them, but surely the adult thing to do would be rise above them and prove that you could do better.
You are only a young lad and like a good bottle of port will mature over the years. But in the meantime listen to your peers, take advice and stop tarring everyone with the same brush.

Harry over to you :D :D :D :D (perce)he he

well if you think you know more then maybe you will go on to be great officers and what not and heres hoping! I just think it is very crass for a cadet to be ripping into any member of the armed forces, as it doesn't matter want they are, officer or solider, the fact is they have been there and know what it is like and at the end of the day they can offer a wealth of advice.

Anyway thats my two cents. :)

Chris, you are a loser aswell as your new enemy Harry. Dont think i am taking any sort of sides.

Yes, but at the end of the day, Harry never offers us anything but abuse for our posts, whether it be a minor spelling or gramatical error, or because he thinks someone is a "walter" or "w@nker".

well I havent read everything so I probably should not comment so I will speak generally. some of these people see cadets and wannabes so often its not funny. They do try to offer advice but when someone doesn't put the effort in then why should they? After awhile it would get tiresome and irritating wouldn't you agree? (as in general, not pointing fingers or insinuating anyone) Also, if someone has said something against you and you disapprove why should you let it get to you? Its going to happen more often in the forces than on a forum and you need to lets some things slide.

It's nearly as irritating as gobby students who tthink they're serving members of the forces putting their two pence worth in, which incidentally is worthless.

This is exactly what I'm talking about on a thread I started yesterday. "Getting Bored". Less than a page into this thread it is totally lost and a slaggin match has ensued.

I'm not going to name names coz I'm sure you're all clever enough to see for yourselves...

Chris911,
Well apart from playing at soldiers just what have you done that makes you so worldly wise. No doubt you are still living at home being looked after by mummy and daddy with them picking up all the main bills. Yet reading your posts there are so many errors in them, and you are upset that some one dares to criticise you. You say that the soldiers that visited your school where that thick most 13 years olds had more sense, but have you reached that age already then. Also this could have been the first time that they had been asked to this sort of thing, have you ever had to stand up before a strange audience and give a talk, well let me tell you it takes a bit of getting used to. If you ever went into the forces know doubt you would be one of the first one to complain of bullying every time you told that what you were doing was wrong.
