Army Commandoes? How hard is it to become one?

curiously why would seals be doing the course i thought they where excellent special force's soldiers on a similar level to our special force's (im treading dangrous ground here i know and mean no offece to anyone)

Mainly the Seals do the course as a kind of exchange thing. They also used to do the RM Snipers course as did quite a few other Yank SF bods, plus a smattering of SAS blokes as well as the course is considered to be one of the best Sniper courses you can do anywhere in the world.

Back in the seventies the British Army didn't even run a Sniper's course so the RM course was the only one available in the British Armed Forces.

The pre aacc is done at oakhampton which is a grade one hole .Lots of time spent on rope work and a horrible assault course .Those on it didnt
seem too unhappy though.
Maybe an overhill stab but not ready to hang
my kit in yet .If not quite death from the flanks
certainly a nasty fright.:)
