transport to PRMC??
not sure if they do it at PRMC, I would imagine not.
I think you can have as short as you like, but I'm not positive. As long as its all neat and squared away, and I dont get grilled by the training team for it when I get to CTC, I dont care how long/short it is!

A great quote from the "Destination: D-Day" series:
"Right, you've done the hard bit, now make it look easy"

This is a bit off subject but when your at your PRMC do you get all your kit e.g. boots, uniform, webbing etc gave to you ?? and then use that kit again when doing basic training ??

Going by the Discovery Channel RM program a few months ago new recruits are given a grade 4 on top and 2 back and sides. If its shorter than this they cant do anything about it, but when it comes to get it cut later on when you do get some choice, I think its about grade 2 at shortest.
About the kit you borrow everything and give it all back. If you pass you get brand new socks and boots. Then during foundation you get issued with the rest (beret, uniform, webbing etc).

they tell you straight away.
As far as I am aware, they will let you stay if you fail, so you can see the rest of the course, but obviously there is still no chance of you passing.
I recommend you get yourself a copy of the green bible, its pretty in depth as to what goes on at PRMC and Basic. Just pop down your AFCO, you can also then clarify any details that you want with them, they are good lads down there and are great to have a chat with.

They hustle you all into a room, then call out some names that will leave the room, then they say that everyone in this room has passed PRMC. At that stage they give you a little brief and start throwing sand coloured berets at you but everyone mostly just dumps them.and another thing, when you have finished the prmc, how do they actualy tell you that you have passed or failed?? is it just a quick name call out or do they call you into an office etc cheers for replys lads
regards
