In one video I saw at my AFCO it showed a King Squad pass out and only 16 were on it out of about 50 but there would have been a few back troops and Hunters. Its probably about 50% of all recruits pass out at some point.

50% is quite good even if most are in the back troop. Hopefully ill be able to stay in my first troop and get straight through first time. Good luck with your bsaic training jordieman.

As your only 14 i would say that 8.1 in the VO2 max is very good. Also you still have 4 years to improve that score, and in 4 years your muscles will be naturally more developed than they are now. Im pretty sure that if you can get 8.1 now, by keeping up the training, you will get to 11 on the VO2 bleep test quite easily. There are a few training programs for the marines on the net but they probably wont be suitable for your age. Hope this helps mate. Good to see that you have determination so early on. Keep up the good work.

20m for a normal bleep test (every level is 0.5s faster ISTR)

Yuri, the 99.99% thing is relative to the population rather than RM applicants; there are about 60 million people in the UK, of which about 5,000 are Royal Marines. that's around 0.01% leaving 99.99% civilian.
