There's no such thing as 'perfect sunshine' at Lympston. It's either to hot or to cold, usually to cold from what i hear.
Still, you can try the Positive Mentle Attitude... ... I am!

Just a quick update...

Today, 30th Jan, I Passed Out from CTC as Marine Clements, the immortal words of "Royal Marines, to your duties...Quick march!" ringing in my ears. It was an amazing day, i'm so proud to have been a part of 855 troop. All the old and bold know exactly what I mean so there's little need to elaborate. I feel 10ft tall!

And now, i'm back to the bottom of a very big ladder, the ladder being 42 Commando. Nervous, but exciting times.

I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has helped me, cajoled me and generally pushed me along so that I could be here today. Much appreciated, and a real demonstration of oppos looking out for each other. A special thanks to Sully who has spun dits, encouraged me and been an all round inspirational, top bloke. I look forward to many steaming runs ashore, even as a sprog!

So when does my combination code come in the post so I can join 'The Bunker'? :D

Well done mate, i'm proud to have known you even if it was just for that short intence 4 days of PRMC back in early April last year... I'll bet that seems like years ago. If i had passed that PRMC i'd proberbly be where you are now!
Good luck in 42, never no one day i might see you in there if (when) i do FTRS if (when) I pass RMR Basic.

Keep me posted mate,

Well done mate - looking at the time of your post you disapoint me - you should have grand-slammed by then  Don't worry I found my driving licence in the end

As you know mate nobody can do it for you - it's all your own efforts.

Top tip - stay away from anything that looks like Gary Glitter on Milbay

...Hmm, you never know..."Best chew I ever had" and all that? As for the time, too right I should have been soiling my bed by then, but the night fizzled a bit when I got back. No probs, tonight will see many wets getting knocked back!

Er, and sorry about the fuzz. "I hear congratulations are in order..." was the biggest crock of a start to a bollocking I ever heard. If that makes sense!

My thoughts exactly mate. Seeing your oppo's off is a time honoured tradition in the Corps and starting less than 5 minutes out of the main gate makes you a very fast learner  I'm supposed to be a lawyer mate - got to stop hanging about with bootnecks  Fair play to you. PM witth contact (oops, wait out  ) details on its way. See you in Guz.

Regards to the family - they're a great bunch.

As far as tonight goes - England expects.................. :drinking:
