From what Tommo told us they needed a Corgi trained quick fit fitter, or a squad of Stokers.  Next!

Today 18 June

Attended a bithday bash. Arrived approx 2130hrs. Was told that another ex Marine was there, asked my friend "O yes, where is he?"

Walked up to him to say "hello" just as he was lighting two matches and shoving them in his gob to show just how hard he was. Everyone was impressed!

"Gosh" I said, "your my hero. where did you learn to do that?"

"In the Marines" was the reply.

"So you were a commando?"

"Yes"

"what regiment did you serve in?"

"The Forty Second Commando" Was the reply. I said "O" and left him to show off.

Over a period of a couple of hours he got the buzz that I was also an Ex Marine. He approached me and asked what unit I served in. I told him "THE REAL ROYAL MARINES" He laughed and then said "no seriously what was your unit?"

I replied "As I just told you, THE REAL ROYAL MARINES, unlike you knumbnuts!" He left 3 minutes later. I didnt even get a chance to ask what his official number was!

Not long been home, have had a few. Gruppenfueruer not a happy hector, in deep Sh*t. No chance of "fruitees"

Have met several Walters in my time and managed to expose them with not too much trouble. But the best one had to be a fellow FRISP who informed my lady friend that he was capable of killing a man with his bare hands and would like to look after her for the evening!!!!!!!
When asked by someone what he did for a living,Royal Marines Commando,he explained, and he was in the forty third regiment???
At this point i said "didnt they disband 43 cdo a few years ago".
How the hell do you know,he roughly asked?
To which my lady friend answered,"well you see,my fella served for 16yrs in the Royal Marines".
He left rather quickly with a red face and hysterical laughter following him.

Bless his little cotton sox     :P :P :P
