All I know is that my Be NICE to People meter blew quite a few times with some of the Twonks who I was tasked with taking though the AACC .
I can always remember some 19 year old Lt RA trying to give me grief as I tried to take him though a 150 meter absail. In the end I lost it and informed the PRONG that it was in his own best interest to take in what I told him to do or I would make it my mission to have him Re-Mustered into the Pioneer Corps. Yon Eeijut took the hint and did as I told him to do.
As it was he failed the AACC on my say so as I considered him to be so far up his own arse that letting him loose with 29 would have resulted in his Gunners topping him as soon as they got the chance. He hacked the AACC but never got issued with a Green Lid as his attitude towards other ranks was well out of order. So he never got near a Cdo unit or wore the Lid.
Loved it when they transferred me to RM Cdo Training as all the blokes had joined the Royal Marines all wanted to be Marines.

Trouble with people who have been out for some time is although they mean well, they often end up giving out duff gen, as is the case here.
Anyway, in answer to the original question - No your pay would not increase, however, should you pass the sniper course, and yes there is an RAF Regt sniper course, you would be a Gnr who has been trained to a higher standard than his peers.
As such, you would be increasing your chances of being recommended for promotion, which would increase your pay.
Also as a sniper you would move onto a different career ladder, and work within a much smaller group of people.
In the RAF only RAF Regt are able to attend sniper courses.
