Yeah, he's also one of the most highly decorated Officers in the British Army too apparently
If he had any kind of decency he'd take the moral victory of an getting an apology from the MOD and swiftly donate his pay out to Headley Court or another such organisation.
I guess when they took his balls they also took his sense of duty to his fellow soldiers too.

He/She/It isn't Parachute Regiment and never has been. IT was Media Ops who choose whatever cap badge they like. IT started off in Royal Irish and spent some time attached to 4 PARA. But hey, Royal Irish or TA doesn't sell stories like the tag line 'Para' does it?!

The big one here is that "they" will pay for, erm, "gender reassignment" for any one, but won't cover LASER eye surgery so a guy can stay in the infantry.
If I was a black, Francophone, female, one-legged, gender-reassigned, single mother I'd likely be a multi-millionaire and the longest-serving Canadian Prime Minister in history!

I read about it in the Daily Mail (must be true) a while back and there were phots of him with a para reg cap badge but it looks like the gen buzz
is that he was in the Royal Irish as a regular and then in 4 Para after a stint as a journo.
To prove what a gen buzz it is the article also says this:
Over the next three years, he became a qualified military physical instructor, took the Royal Marine Commando training course and passed the SAS Combat Survival and Resistance to Interrogation course, for which he was required to learn how to kill without a weapon and to go on the run for a week with 150 soldiers, dogs and helicopters in hot pursuit.
Had he been in the Corps he would have just been put on a sigs course

My repsonse whenever I see transgender individuals or transvestites or women with extreme amounts of make up and difficult uncomfortable looking clothes and shoes and men tarted up and looking uncomfortable is always "Blimey, I'm glad I'm me. Sling on a pair of jeans a shirt and shoes and out the door & off to work."
Think how many hours a day these kind of people spend in front of a
mirror! Poor sods!
