Well I like some Irish I guess. I had a friend named Mac Govern once. He was okay and all. Most people I grew up with were Boudreaux's, Tibedeux's, Rouge's, Simmons, La Blanc's, Le Jeune's, Jones, Doget's, Lovette's and some kraut names. So you can see it was mostly people of French and English decent.
I have my theory on Irish you probably don't care to hear and it ties into catholisism.

The whole lot could have been put down, using Marines and Para's, in very short order. When they first crawled out from under the stones, the politicians were afraid of the American backlash if the gloves came off. After all, we had a problem from the Jewish American lobby when we were trying to sort out the Palestine problem, and the American Irish would have been, as it so proved, even harder to deal with. Bloke I know is an ex IDF Gunner. His views on the IRA/Sinn Fien was to me very refreshing indeed. Their are not to many Southern Irish people very keen on the Scum so he informed me.

When I asked him how come Sinn Fien have MP's in the Irish Parliment he put it down to Stupidity on the part of the people who voted them in. But as Del has said the Southern Politicians seem to have realised that maybe, just maybe Sinn Fien could pose a threat to their way of life if they don't do something about them ASAP.

PS. Just because SF has 32% of the vote in this scum ridden country does not mean they have a mandate. If 32% of the scum in this country supported rape I don't think that their political 'party' would have a rightful place at any negotiating table or at the seat of any government.
