As per Wholley I am inclined to keep this thread open. Just so we can suss out the mindset of some of the morons who aspire to jon the British Armed Forces.

Take it as read that this a place on the internet for people to ask pertinant questions about the armed forces or to act like total tool's..........The thing is it is also read by the armed forces......Summut to think about hey?

For myself I'm sick to death with people who have never served in the Armed Forces acting like "OWD SWEATS' just because they have been on this site for yonks and get this idea that they know (in their own minds) just what you need to do in order to join the Royal Navy/Royal Marines/Army or Royal Air Force.

Most people who come on here and join up, get the advice, take it in, join up and are then never heard from again due mainly to the job they are doing. But it's nice to get the odd E Mail saying "THANKS" Artist. To me that makes my day. Sad? No, it just makes me chuffed that so and so has done it. is all.
