Book of Airmen's Obituaries

Post by El Prez »

Nurse just bought me the 'Book of Airmen's Obituaries. written and composed by Edward Bishop from Daily Telegraph Obits. ISBN 1 902304 99 3 http://www.grubstreet.co.uk
If you read the paper it's very obvious that there's a great reduction in the percentage of famous/brave/eccentric military characters falling off their perches. The numbers will continue to decrease, unfortunately, until we are left with politicians and chess players. In the meantime these collected tales of real characters are a reminder of a time sadly missed, when heroes existed, but as with all brave men, just got on with life.
You should talk to somebody who gives a f**k.
