Lesley Bristow my grandad

Post by lew »

Today at 0507 my granddad les passed away, he was 67 years old, a former national service man of the mid 50's he spent his three years in Germany...

This morning has been incredibly hard on myself and my family, as the head of the family, a much loved and incredibly respected man left us...

I was told he passed peacefully with out any pain or discomfort, this man is was and always will be a perfect role model for the young men of my family to live up to...

He was the most honourable, strong willed, and gentle man I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing, and if I turn out to be half the man he was, ill know I’ve done well...

I love you granddad…

Lew,
Sorry I'm late bud. I'm sorry for your loss. I know it's hard, you speak so highly of him, a good man I'm sure.

To your grandfather and his service as a soldier I salute.

To you and your family I hope you find comfort in the Lord in this difficult time.
