Language...
Gentlemen of the forum, and yes I excuse the ladies because none of them are guilty of this, in one word; Language!
It is tiresome to read through a post and find swearing scattered throughout the text for no reason at all. It is a sign of a poor command of the English language and poor vocabulary. The text type of writing that people seem to have reverted to once again is starting to get on my nose, for one, and I am sure it is getting on other peoples as well.
Some of you have had PMs from me requesting that you cease and desist from the foul language and text speak but for those of you who are guilty of doing both these things take this as your warning. ]
I will stop editing your posts and just delete them. I, nor others, want to read your crass language and pathetic attempts at corrupting the English language into some form of street speak... you have been warned!
If you find you post has suddenly dissappeared please try and remember this warning.

I agree to, I’m 18 and I can form properly spelt and punctuated sentences, so the rest of them can as well... It’s not hard to do guys and gals...

It is the Felonious Use of Carnal Knowledge that gets my goat especially by using an asterisk in the offending word, it surely must be easier NOT to use these chosen expletives.
There are youngsters on this site that may well be viewing these pages and it cannot be seen to be right that the spoken word often becomes the written word, pack it in chaps!

One of the good things about this forum is that the posts are on the whole pretty much devoid of expletives accept when they are used as part of a joke which seems ok to me.
One of the things I've noticed about the use of text language is it isn't just the youngsters who are using it. In other places I've often been fooled into thinking someone was about 13 and they turn out to be in their mid thirties! It's very confusing.

The forum is heavily RM, plus a few other of the better military and self discipline is one of the attributes that makes good soldiers; that self discipline extends to the language we use. As a young single marine it was a cardinal sin to be invited to a married man's home and to swear in his wife's presence, bad manners so it wasn't done. To this day my daughters have never heard their father use the less acceptable swear words in the anglo saxon language. A dying breed we gentlemen aren't we fellas?
