Merchant Navy turns to Royal Navy

Hello everyone,

I'm currently studying a higher diploma in Maritime Studies. I'm going to be a merchant navy as a cadet office after I graduated this summer.
However, I am mostly interested in Royal Navy instead of merchant navy.
I'd like to join Royal Navy even though if I can only be a sailor in Royal Navy when I can be an officer in merchant navy.

I'm holding a British Nationality Oversea (BNO) passport that I could not mention this information in the internet application form of Royal Navy.
Could anyone please give me suggestion?
