royal marines medical

Post by adams »

I am waiting on results back from my medical for the royal marines, everything went ok but had to send of results of an mri scan i had 5 years ago of my back due to some pain, I havnt had any pain in those 5 years since and do not have a problem with any training. The conclusion of the results was "some disc degenerative change with minimal bulging at t11/12". Was wondering if anyone would know if this would fail me?
Thanks

If you have problems with your back now, how do you expect to carry heavy loads day after day while marching across all sorts of terrain

I do not have any problems with my back now. The results were from 5 years ago and within those 5 years I have been training in MMA, weight training, running, swimming etc and all without any pain. Doctors can back me up on this and prove that i havnt had any problems since. I wanted to know if this would be seen as a problem. I know i am capable of carrying heavy loads day after day while marching across all sorts of terrain.

Well all you can do is to push them for a reply and you could try and get your MP to letter to them on your behalf.
