Anyone out there that can tell me the size of the black patch on the ARmy Air Corps light blue beret??

Black patch? I don't think their is one unless you mean the backing for the capbadge?

It's slightly bigger than the badge.. Hope that helps.

This one comes sans black patch but does seem to probably be better suited as a helicopter landing pad...
