Breakdown of how you get into certain regiments please :)

Evening all, so my application to the infantry is still ongoing, but i was just wondering how you actually end up getting to your preferred squadron/regiment of choice if at all? Bascially i have put the (1) Guard division (ideally the Welsh), (2) Royal Irish Regiment and (3) Para's on my application, and was wondering how you go from ITC to your preffered choice if at all possible? Do you have to enlist in the rifles following on from ITC or can/is it possible to go straight to your preffered squadron/regiment choice (pending a position is open).

What did you put down on your application form ??????? You should make it clear to them just what you want. If the paras is your third choice then I would drop it as you have sweat blood to get into them, you need real dedication and it sounds like that you don't have it.
