Why are we using the military equipment of the Korean War?
Re: Why are we using the military equipment of the Korean Wa
I personally can't think of one bit of equipment from the 1950's that is still in use in todays forces, even the 9mm Browning pistol has passed into history, the only thing that crosses my mind is the knife, fork and spoon, and you can't go far with out those.

My suggestion was a chain of drones linked by line of sight EMR - not so easy to jam.
There is a need for tanks yes but they should have 'jousting armour' ie lightly armoured for quick pincer movements ( the only use that is successful - German Army before Hitler took charge ) and space ( which is also useful for dealing with shaped charges ) which can be filled with armour when the idiots take over and the tank is used to fight the equivalent of trench warfare - Kirsk ). This would also be useful if Chobam Armour is used since once hit it needs to be replaced.
