A Thankyou and A Couple Of Questions Regarding Job Choices.

Post by Tomo_B »

Hi All,
I have not posted on the forum for a while(been training like mad lol), i have just been grabbing a quick look when i get the chance or if i am struggling with something in my training.
I would just like to say a big thankyou to you all for the information that you all provide on the forum as without it i would not have passed ADSC with grade A. :D
Now after doing better at ADSC than i thought i could, i am waiting for a date to come available for my 1st job choice. But after going to the AFCO today, getting a job sheet with the jobs that are available to me and getting home and having a good look at it, i find RE ME(logistic specialist) on there. I have RE ME(driver) as my 3rd choice job and was wandering if the logistic specialist :
- is not that different to my 3rd choice
- has good promotion prospects
-is as varied as it says in the video on the army website.

Thanks,
Amphibian

Congrats on your grade at ADSC it's always a good feeling passing not just "scraping through", however on topic i believe the logistic specialist would be a more varied job role than driver but there are diffrent types accoring to the British Army website such as fuel and supply specialist's so im not too sure what to say. The best advice alot of people could give is to talk to your AFCO, is this just to replace your 3rd job role? Because i dont see why you'd have much of a problem getting your first job with that A from ADSC.
