Thinking of Joining

Hello, I'm thinking of joining the army but I have had a infalmmation of my kidneys which i'm worried will prevent me getting in to the army. I havent had trouble with it for a couple of years now though although I have been seeing my docter on a yearly basis just as a check-up. As this will be shown on my medical records does this mean I really have no chance of getting into the army, or should I go to a army careers office and ask them?

My docter says on every appointment that i'm fine it just takes a while to completely heal, i'm very fit and exercise 4 times a week, so was wondering does anyone have any suggestions? cheers

ok first things first, you wont be turned down for any regiment in the army whether its infantry to musician, but do expext the worst as medical records are a thing thats looked at almost first and they will see that you have been having to go to a doctor anually, so what you need to do is build up a case to prove that it is not going to be a problem, this should consist of anything that could be related to the healing of the problem at hand, anything from your doctor is a bonus, just make sure its good news!
