Medical - hyperflexion

Post by Snoreador »

Hi all,

I have just been to the osteopath to sort out some exercises to help with my training, and he identified a 15 degree hyperflexion in one elbow. All other joints are absolutely fine. The medical notes state that a 10 degree hyperflexion in any joint is a barrier to entry, despite this value being arbitrary (and this arbitrariness is explicitly mentioned in the footnotes).

Now, 15 is close to 10, really, and the choice is arbitrary. Has anybody got any history of this? Is it worth even bothering? The osteopath detailed that I don't have a general condition (which is what is actually mentioned in the notes), and the degree of flexion is not too far off the set limits. Would I have a hope in either medical or appeal?
