Anybody going Guards??

Alright lads. Just out of interested is anybody waiting to go to catterick and joining the Guards? I'm going Grenadiers, passed my selection last month and just waiting for a date to start now.

Hi mate, i have applyed for the coldstream guards but i have been waiting for 11 months, i passed ADSC but my carreers advisor at my local carreers office just keeps telling me to wait! im fed up with waiting but i will never give up waiting!

I was in the Irish Guards for seven years before moving units and moving on to a more specialist role. The Guards offer a great life for any rank and be prepared to work hard and play harder

Bill, good luck mate. The wait will be worth it when you finally get in. What grade did you get at ADSC? Cheers TacLite, I can't wait to start. It's gonna be a mental 28 weeks training, you got any tips to make life a bit easier wilst in training?
