Hi,
Can someone tell me or better yet, show me what patches go where on a Para's shirt and jacket?
Any help would be appreciated.

Question about patches.
Re: Question about patches.
What patches are you talking about. If you are in the Regiment then the tailor will do it for you, well they used to any way. If you are not in the Regiment why do you want to know.
Re: Question about patches.
Im not in the regiment or any other branch of the miltary for that matter, but I do have an interest in the military, particularly the Paras.
Ive got a cammo jacket and Id like to put some patches on it to sort of pay homage.
I dont mean to rub anyone up the wrong way, I detected a bit of hostility in your reply, so I just want to make it clear that I am not planning on posing as a Para, If someone asked if I was one, I wouldnt lie.
Cheers.

Re: Question about patches.
The only patches on a Smock was the Battalion colour square and above about an inch would be your wings. The wings would only be on one arm and the battalion flashes on both

Battalion DZ Flash on right arm with wings above it and rank below unless WOs or officers - Brigade flash on left arm
