Hi can anyone give me some advise please my son was born with club foot to his left side after corrective surgery he then started to lead a normal boys life playing full contct sport (rugby) and has also been an army cadet for the last two years he has just applied to go to the army foudation college and then wants to go on to the R.E.M.E. as a VM but has been rejected due to being born with the above affliction yet this 15 year old boy who is so commited has just walked 22 miles in a weekend to raise funds for the army benevolent fund and can run the fitness test of a mile and a half in seven minutes 41 can anyone advise is it worth us trying to appeal or if they know of anyone in the army with this same affliction

Sounds like he's a fully competent and able man, I think you should definitely appeal. What have you got to lose?

As stated above, sounds like there's no reason for him to be rejected if that is all the case. I'd definately appeal
