REME Armourer

Hey

I have been doing a lot of research on the Army website, Armourer looks like it would be relatively interesting as a career

.... Anyone here do it and care to give some insight

and also it says

As an REME soldier you can also volunteer for the Special Forces

would this be as an armourer or would it be as a trooper??? or could you do either?

Im not sure what context the Army website talking about but you can do both.

Special Forces Selection is Tri-Service so anyone can apply even cooks and clerks so Armourer won't be any different.

You can also volunteer to be attached to SF as an Armourer but you wouldn't do Selection or anything like that you'd simply work for them in the same way as you would any other Regiment you were attached to.
