Basically i started training on monday and im super unfit but im determined to get to the standard i need to be. Is there any training programmes people have used that will help me? or any tips? I live in the countryside so there alot of good hills and wood to run around in.. any info would be help.

lol it's a long story involving a 2 year driving ban and 2 years in America
Anyway I started re-applying in Jan, got to pre-ADSC a few months later, actual ADSC in July and start next March so around a year I think is normal these days depending what you're joining

There are hundreds of running training programs about, so I wont go into that, but the main thing I'd recommend (despite it sounding obvious) is to really, really push hard on every session.
Look at it as if every time you go out you're doing your test, always, always put in 110% and you'll find your fitness increases almost no matter what program you're doing
