standerd room is 8 feet, and seen a better workout tower on powerhouse at 220cm,so that would be around 8 or 9 inches from the roof i think,i think that would be to big for a house does anyone have one in there house ?

The standard roof is about 8 foot, mine is 9 so why don't you get a tape measure and see? Im sure that would be a lot more accurate than asking random men on the internet about your own home lol =]...also you can buy/make bits of that machine and you will save a lot of money mate :D

I've used something similar that was much sturdier looking.
If it is sturdy then it's an excellent station to have for some upper body and core work.

But beware it looks ideal for the curse of 99% of home exercise equipment....

Hmmm looks like an ideal bit of kit for my 20+ pull up challenge that im currently undertaking.
currently I just train at the gym on the pull up bar there but I need/want to do pull ups whenever and as often as I can. Im in the process of attaching a bar to the ceiling rafters in the garage, that will suffice for now.

I bought some free weights from argos a few months ago which have become very useful doorstops

Why didn't you just buy one of these for £30:

You could use that for most of the things you can do on the power tower, especially if your focus is improving your pull ups, but its much cheaper.

Yep that one's also handy because you can just use it while you're walking around.

With a normal pull up bar you have to drill two supports into your door frame and it then usually gets left there permanently as its a pain the backside tightening the bar up every time. This one however just fits in place so it is no hassle at all and wont leave any damage to the door frame.

If it's not been dispatched yet why don't you try and cancel your order or send it back when it does arrive? It'd be a pain but it'd save you a few quid and that workout tower is going to take up some space!

Most of the pull up bars these days are easily removable.
